Which is best for you - Front or side speakers ?

Side beats rear, that's for sure. And while front is nicer, I'll take the smaller bezels any day.

I use headphones for video anyway.

The sound on tablet speakers is never going to be great. They are just too small, whichever direction they point.

Except for short YouTube videos, I'd almost always use headphones to listen to anything on a tablet so I am reasonably happy with where the speakers are.
