Root Which is the better root of GB ?

Okay, I just installed (DOWNLOAD EJ06 Gingerbread Rooted Image with CWM5 made by Chin Checka) via Odin on my fiance's prevail, and it seems to be running a truck load of poop faster then 2.2 froyo already...

She likes it due to the looks and how it is pretty much like her old Samsung Vibrant (the 2.3 looks and menus). The highest score I could manage from quadrant was around 1066-1025. (still a ton faster then 2.1 or 2.2)

When I finally get my prevail back should I put the rooted stock image on my phone or go for the CM7.1 ? I want to most out of my phone, I just wanted the lady to be happy with hers. (Not that she didn't like Shabby's mod. She does miss the Penguins.)

What I'm asking here is what is the biggest benefit of having CM7.1 installed over the rooted stock version ? (Noob question) I've read up on installing CM7.1 enough that I could manage the install of it. I would install the rooted 2.3 with CMW, download and extract to my SD card the CM7.1 and just install from the recovery screen.. (correct me if I'm wrong please.)

Cm7 is currently only for froyo. The mad scientist (Hroark13) hasn't released the gingerbread one...yet. if you have a rooted 2.3.5, CTmod is the choice that you want to go with, unless you really want cm7. Then, you can just odin back to froyo, and install it. Really up to you, but I think you would like CTmod, I do.
