Help Which is the right serial number?

Which is the right serial number? In About Tablet/ status/ serial number it shows as a seven digits and a letter. But on the label on the box this number is listed as CSSN, but there is also a SSN number (letter, two digits,three letters, six digits) which is more "in keeping" with ASUS' way. I went on the ASUS website to register the device but neither number is recognized. I also, more importantly need the correct number for insurance purposes. Any ideas?

Just registered at Asus.com with no problem. The SSN is the number you use and be sure to click EE Pad for the product

I just went to the Asus site but the only Register link I see appears to be one for registering ME rather than for registering a product. What did I miss?

I just went to Asus.com and fished around till I found a page to register my Nexus. It took me a few minutes, I don't remember for sure but think it was under support heading. If you don't find it I'll see if I can find it again and send a link. Oh.... and be sure not to use 0 instead of O..... even using a magnifying glass I messed it up the first time.
