Which phone should I select to download Gameloft games?

I love playing "Gangstar: Miami Vindication" on my iPod touch, but when I went to Gameloft's website to download the game for my new Evo, it wasn't an option for the Evo 4g.

Then, I downloaded the game from 4shared.com, but when I tried to play the game, it lagged extremely badly.

So, what phone I should select when I'm on Gameloft's website when a game isn't available for the Evo?
 
that means its not optimized for the evo and prolly wont be any time soon...move on to something else lol..game wise that is
 
The Evo has a terrible GPU, if your into gaming you might want to get something better. I would suggest something with a PowerVR SGX540 or Tegra 2 chip in it.
 
He isn't asking what phone to buy. Certain GL games will only allow you to download to the phones they list for that game. People have been using a workaround by doing it from their PC and just selecting a different phone from the menu. It has been working for some people but I don't know if it is 100% stable for all phones so buyer beware I guess.

I wish there was a list somewhere. I'm not willing to pay to experiment but that's what android underground is for ;)
 
Both DH2 and MC2 are available for the Evo and run decently (some slow down once a while) on my Evo, so I am not sure why "Gangstar: Miami Vindication" would not be available, since I can't imagine it being more demanding graphically then MC2... Maybe just a oversight by Gameloft on not listing that game for the Evo...

@minnesota133 you can always send a email to Gameloft support and ask them about it. I would like to get that game too.
 
I think he's asking what phone is equivalent for selecting on their site, he already has an Evo.

Can you re-download stuff from Gameloft, or is it still a buy-for-one-off-download service?

Yes, you can re-download from the desktop or mobile site. Just go to my downloads and log in with your email or phone number.

No, your right the Galaxy S series are some of the best gaming phones currently out there :)

Also, sadly Gameloft tends to try to make optimized for the most popular devices at the time...Now, I do not know which games they have for evo if any, but I can recommend a game to you and that is Dungeon Hunter HD and possibly Dungeon Hunter 2 HD
 
If you're after Gameloft games its hard to recommend anything other than the Galaxy S range of phones. The Galaxy SII is also looking like a good proposition, since its Gaming Hub will allow for Gameloft title purchases, which will be a much more convenient way to discover and purchase than the situation we have currently.
