Which phones hold value well

Hi
odd question but I'm after an Android Phone that I will probably only be keeping for 3-4 months after which I will be selling it so I was wondering which phone/phones have strong resell values I would think along the lines of the more popular brands i.e. Samsung and HTC but do I go for an older model i.e. S3, One X or the latest model? Or do suggest another brand or model?

Oh and I'm from England if that matters (one phone may be more popular than the other depending on location?)

Thanks

yeah you want to go with the newer phones if you want value back. i would go for the galaxy s4 or the htc one. and older phones loose value fairly quickly.

i'm gonna move this to the device comparison forum.

edit: ok moved the thread.

There's also the Nexus 4 if you could get your hands on one.
The 8GB variant seems to be selling for about 250-275 on ebay.co.uk

Apologies for posting in wrong forum. One of the issues buying a latest version is the cost and risk loosing a lot if it doesn't sell as apposed to buying a cheap S3 on ebay and selling it a few months later and if it doesn't sell I haven't lost as much.

Those Nexus 4's do seem to hold value quite well I don't get it according to some bidding currently in progress why would someone pay
