Root Which ROM has the best battery life

Any votes on which ROM has the best battery life overall? I'm only using CM7, and it seems to be a little better than stock, but I haven't tried the other roms here.
 
The general consensus seems to be CM7 and MIUI have the best battery life. BUT... it all depends on your individual usage patterns/location as to what ROM/kernel combination gives you the best battery life.
Easiest way to find out is to just try the roms yourself for a few days.
 
There are also kernels you can try that will allow you to undervolt and they will make a difference as well. Changing the stock CM7 screen brightness values for automatic brightness control (moving them down, obviously) helped quite a bit as well...

As mentioned above, try them out and see. Incredikernel has an undervolt feature and the cpu can be set to 128mhz on standby and below stock 1Ghz when running. I'm at 128/883 and the phone works fine...

Tiamat has a new 4.0 kernel that is supposedly working with CM7 but users are reporting bugs. I'm going to try it when it seems a bit more stable as I've read the SBC version has very long battery life...
 
I have CM7 and am using Chad Incredikernel 2.6.37.6

Can anyone compare the battery life with this Kernel with CM7 vs. Tiamat with CM7?

Ever since coming to CM7 about a week ago I have been using this kernel and getting exceptional battery life. Just curious if I could do better.. always greedy!

If not... I am very satisfied with this combo... I can get about 16hrs a day with 3g on and syncing all day, gtalk running in background, MANY texts, some calls, and according to the little blue bars under Battery Use in CM7 - my phone must be awake about 60% of the day...

(I got 9 hours the other day with major power use - spent ALL day in a boring lecture adding and dropping electives on my phone --> AMAZING!)
 
Yes i just rooted to cm7 and Im not sure if the battery life is better or not.

I have turned the brightness down....guess ill turn it down some more to see how low i can make it before its too low.

Any other tips?
