Doesnt the camera just white screen when you flash a diff kernel? still takes pics, you are just taking them blind without a preview I think...?

yes sir, camera goes white, so does video, but u can take pics as u say blind lol. i had to change my kernel to its original, i cant live without capturing funny moments with my EVO 8MP camera!! =p

anyone else on virus having trouble setting up the POP stock email app? It keeps telling me authentication failed but i know i am 100 percent entering the correct address. Any ideas? this is true in manual set up as well.

not me, it worked fine with me, try erasing your cache and dalvik, sometimes that resolves some of my problems, havent had to do that recently tho =p, if not just reflash completely

is anyone else having text messaging problems on virus? Im using the stock app and i get a message saying the receiver has choosen not to receive messages.

try the KONI Elite 3 it worked for me for several days. I did notice the battery life was somewhat shorter. I was using a kernel as well. I did like the koni for sense was pretty cool. There is a link a ways down on the root page. good luck and enjoy. Make sure to read the change log because it lists what the rom is using and what it is not.

if you really liked KONI Elite III, try the KERNEL in my sig... i flashed it 2 days ago and have gotten outstanding battery...(IMO) right now, i'm at 10 hours and 70% battery...
