Root Which Root Method for Stock Rom? (no rom flashing required)

Which root method is best if I do not intend to flash a rom with it right away? I just Odin'd back to stock and need to root to use Titanium Backup.

The big difference is that 3.0.0.6 coverts the file system over to EXT4 from RFS. Supposedly, it is faster than the stock Samsung setup.
 
use gingerbreak. its an apk form now will just root for ya and its the root exploit used for gingerbread since they finally patched ratc
