Root Which SBF?

I am really new to these types of things, so please bear with me.

Current phone information:

Model: DROIDX
Android version: 2.2.1
Baseband version: BP_C_01.09.07P
MOD/ROM version: Fission_2.5.7_BE_DROIDX

My goal is to upgrade to .296 Official ROM (go back to stock) so that I can then upgrade to a more current ROM (Liberty 3 V2.0).

I am following the steps to get the .296 Official ROM, but I am stuck on which SBF file that I need to download.

Which SBF do I need?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

z0mb13m4n pointed you in exactly the right direction. Start with that guide and it will get you to a point of where you can flash new Roms including Liberty 3 v2.0 which i actually am running right now.

Thank you z0mb13m4n and trophynuts for all of your help so far.

I followed all of the directions to the T, and have gotten to the point where I start the SBF process through RSD Lite. The status is finished and the result is "pass."

My main concern is that the guide tells me that when this SBF process is finished, the phone will power off and back on. It has not done this. It is stuck in the Bootloader. On the phone screen, it says:

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB

What should I do?

boot into factory recovery and do a factory wipe reset
