Accessories Which screen protector do you have?

Just finished putting on my phantom skinzz, Letting it dry now. have a few bubbles, but look to be filled w/ water and not air - so they'll dry out over night. the haze that bmw was talking about is there, but that's normal of course. that'll go away when the water solution dries.

I never use that stretchy/tacky/watery Zagg shields. Static-adhesive shields all the way for me.

Waiting for a anti-glare protector from SGP to be released. I have a very oily face so the anti-glare protector helps with less smudges, and it makes gliding a whole lot easier.

Clarivue has the ugly/annoying cutouts for the sensors, and Boxwave is just overly priced.

scratched my screen badly today and I have no idea how. Will be getting a protector of some sort in the morning and hoping that it's not noticeable. I'm just sick about it.

You probably won't notice it anymore after a while. If you're like me, though, you'll obsess over it for a few days, hehe.

This is partly why I want to get a screen protector that covers the whole screen. It just kinda bothers me that the screen protector from Sprint only covers the middle. Hmm..maybe I should look on ebay...

I have Ghost Armor on mine and my wife has Zagg on hers. The Ghost Armor is so much better it's ridiculous, it feels just like before where as the Zagg feels rubbery and crappy overall. The Ghost Armor was also easier to apply IMO.

Well my phantom skin is dry now.side from a few pockets that need to dry yet, you cant even see any visual difference. It changed the feel of the screen of course but it's not bad.i can deal with it knowing my device is protected.

I just bought the stock one's from the Sprint Store. $11.99 I believe, comes with 2 regular, 1 anti-glare, and the microfiber. I don't get into all the hype of Screen Protector's especially after seeing many people don't like Zagg and those were THE it things for the past few years.

I hated the Sprint screen protectors; purchased and returned it when I found out it didn't cover the whole front. I never liked the Zagg/Invisibleshield as a screen protector--rubbery feel and orange peel, but great alternative to protect the BACK of the phone for those wanting to go naked.

I've always loved using the Power Support Anti-glare static-adhesive screen protectors from Apple on my iPhone. Looking for basically the same exact for the Evo, so I'm waiting it out for the SGP.

Phantom Skinz.

Only saw one other reply in the thread who mentions them. Phantom Skinz was the winner of the Palm Pre screen protector showdowns. Goes on easy, excellent clarity (everyone I showed my Pre to had to look twice to see it) and great tactile feel.

What's with the Zagg replies? Is that just what best buy sells? I think I've seen a booth in the mall before. Quick google search shows Zagg prices from $8-$21 (best buy of course is $21). PZ is $6, free shipping, and comes with 2 skins.

Stealth Guards... not a fan. I just ordered Clarivue... hoping I like it better.

I put the Clarivue on last night and it felt rubbery right away. Its a little better today. I'll give it a week and see how it feels. I have an XO on order too. Yes it protects but the finger drag sucks after getting used to the smooth glass.

are these steinheil and seidio static crystal clear screen protectors only available online? or can you get it at BB or some retail store?

Stealth Guards

I got 2 full body kits for something like $13 shipped. This was the first time I've installed anything like this so it took a bit to get the side pieces on, but I have to say that this is great for the value. I really can't imagine what a "better" more expensive protector would offer that this doesn't.

Just finished installing Zagg shield. Just front cover, didn't opt for full body. I'm going to get a silicone/gel case to go with it. Took 5 minutes, but it wasn't my first rodeo, had the full body on my iPhone.

I have the Clarivue on mine, put it on yesterday. Got the Ultra Clear, kinda wish I had gotten the Anti Glare.

I Got sick of all the finger prints! Put the Zagg shield on, Front only I like it so far no complaints Feels good to me.

I have the Seidio ultimate screen guard and I would never replace it with anything else. Here's why:

- Protects the ENTIRE screen, including the camera, sensors, and buttons.
- Static cling application; no liquids or adhesive needed.
- Completely transparent and smooth. I forget that it's even on the screen. My dad has the ZAGG on his Hero and it looks filmy and is not smooth to the touch. That turned me off of the Invisible Shield.

Yes, this one gets fingerprints, but a hot breath and a T-shirt will take care of them. I cannot recommend the Seidio enough.

Thanks for the recommendation. I saw a video of a gentleman showcasing this product as well here in the forum. I like the clear & smoothness aspects and no liquid adhesion. I am going to purchase a Seido Ultimate Screen Guard online for my new Evo.

I had these, but removed it. I didn't mind the feel of them at all, in fact, I liked that part about it... but I didn't like the odd patterns that would come up...especially when viewing a white backround.

I had the invisible shield on and really did not like it at all. I may try BodyGuardz as I used that in the past and remember liking it.

Has anyone heard about the seidio screen guards that are anti-glare? Just wondering how different that is from the crystal clear version.

Does everyone else who installed a screen protector have a streaky screen? I don't know if this is from the drop of soap I added to the water or what, but its rather distracting.

Anyone have any experience with xo skinz? I did some research a couple weeks ago when pre-ordering the evo and ended up ordering from them. They look pretty good from what i can tell.

Zagg had a Twitter special today where first 3 people to use their code got a free FULL body and all you have to pay for is shipping.

I now have a Full Body Maximum Coverage Invisible Shield coming to my way for $2.99 shipped! Hell of a deal
