Which set of apps will be installed on my new phone

I have just got a new Android phone for work, and when I logged in with my Gmail account, all the apps from my personal Android phone were automatically downloaded.

This is useful, and eventually, I will uninstall a lot of these from my work phone and install different apps on there.

BUT, what will happen when I get a new Android phone to replace my current personal phone? Which set of apps will be downloaded onto that phone? Is there any way to control the apps profile on multiple android phones???

Having had several Android devices its kinda a hit and miss at least from my experience. One factor that goes into it is if the app is actually compatible with the newer device. Some apps I used to have were not so they never got downloaded to the new device. Even though it would be a PITA to keep up with I would really recommend that you have different accounts for the different devices. Your personal account for your personal devices and a work account for your work devices. Reason for this is the Work phone belongs to the company and is subject to their rules and terms.

It should be the apps you had on the previous device that are compatible with the new device, that's how it usually works for me.
