Accessories Which Steinheil should I get? *comparison*

the anti-glare and fingerprint effect is awesome man. it's just a shame that it does cause so much blur. i think it's amplified by the way oled pixels are in the first place.

i love the feel and it definitely does what it's supposed to do, however i just can't get passed the blur.

still have an AF to trade for a crystal if anyone is interested. i thought there was a thread for such trades, but can't find it anymore. lemme know.

The AF properties of the Stein AF are excellent. However, no smartphone in my limited experience (berry, HTC, samsung, motorola) is usable in the direct sunlight. I have no issues at all in direct sunlight with max brightness....but the reason is I use a very dark wallpaper....on purpose. I can even create a shadow with my head/torso :cool:
 
So I got my AF from BoxWave...easy to install (of course I dropped my phone onto the pavement earlier.. :( ) but it looks like the Steinheil one. Not very clear and I do not like it. I cant post pics sorry. But I dont even think I can return it to Boxwave..sucks

Arrgghh well which one will you go with this time? The Crystal? You got some pics to share of the boxwave we love pics here :)

The INC is basically my camera now..just easy to upload to FB and such. My old cam isn't really working. Suffice to say, it is already "boxed" up and I will be emailing Boxwave tomorrow. I HOPE they will let me return it. I was either looking at the clear one, SGP one or even BestSkinsEver. We will see..not really sure yet.
I just didn't like the way it looked. It looked just wrong, IMHO

I see I understand. I ordered a boxwave last week just wanted to try it out vs the Stein AF. I'll have plenty of protectors now...6....should find one I like best ehh! So far it's the cyrstal!
 
Yup, Boxwave just emailed me. Guess all I get is 10% off my next boxwave order... sucks.. Wasted $15 on something. Gr. Anyone want one?
Also, are the Boxwave crystal screen protectors just as good as Steins?
 
Just thought I would update after using all 5 different screen protectors (Stein crystal & AF, Veriz OEM, Zagg and Boxwave AF). As far as screen clarity and getting the same brilliant OLED look out of your Inc the Steinheil Crystal is superior to the others. As far as screen scratch protection I have to give the edge to the ZAGG as it is just about bullet proof in my experience, but at the ost of the often talked about orange peel effect. The Veriz protector doesn't cover all the glass and does it's job just OK.

What I really want to comment on is the Boxwave AF....yes it is clearer than the Stein AF by a good bit....but it has an awful side effect worse than the blurry Stein AF imo....it's called "sparklies"...I don't know if it's the fact that the Inc is OLED or what but it looks bad. Again, it is much clearer than the Stein AF, but with the added sparklies effect.

SO the Boxwave AF properties are good at the cost of sparklies....the Stein AF a little better but at the cost of blurriness...the Veriz does not cover all the glass...the Zagg is tough, but I don't like the orange peel effect it gives....so the Steinheil crystal imo is the clear winner pun intended.

I did not even bother with the Boxwave pics as I took it off immediately after seeing the sparklies.

Of course all this is just my personal opinion everyone is different would be boring if everyone liked what I like ;)

They are very "clear". They are otherwise identical to the AG's. In my experience they FingerPrint worse than naked, though.

I was a bit surprised also. The effect was MUCH different than on my Storm(s).

It is somewhat lessened by dark bgs and cranking up the brightness, but text on a white bg is very annoying.

Funny you say this I thought long and hard about doing this lol

I don't think I could deal with the seam though and so may apps use different real-estate on the screen (including landscape) it would be hard to get the perfect fit I think.

I am content with the crystal....now just waiting for some good desktop cradle options and car docks :-)
