Which suits me better?

Hey guys,i know that the question of S2 I9100 vs I9100G has been asked many times but i already know the differences but i wish if you would help me in choosing which suits me better

My concerns about the non G:
Reliability overlong time due to overheating(the mobile phone has to live for 3 or more years )
Battery drain (i know that it is solved in a new android version)

My concerns about the G version:
reported compatibility issues with some games and programs
Some people reported lag

Important notes: i have the opportunity to buy the G and non G at the same price,this mobile phone will stay for about 3 or 4 years so reliability is important for me and i am going to buy it with no warranty so less problems would be useful .

In advance,i would like to thank anyone who would give me their honest opinion and i am apologizing if this question had been asked many times and please don't refer me to comparisons because i have read tons of them and i can't decide

Only issue I'd no one can say if it will last for as long as 3 years... Had mine since the month or so since it came out, and had no major issues, any I had, have ironed themselves out. I've got got the non g variant!

sntaylor thanks for the quick reply,but i meant wouldn't the overheat problem which is common in the non G variant make the phone life less ? this is my first samsung and first smart phone so wouldn't the G variant be more reliable especially?

Either one works. G has better / aggressive power management hence less heat. Both versions have removable batteries so if the batteries runs out, it can be changed. You are safe with either one, but I noticed the non-G version has more/faster firmware updates.

is there is a huge difference in games between both variants? and are the compatibility issues of the G variant solved ?
