Root Which System Apps to Remove

Newbie
I've searched the forums pretty thoroughly and haven't seemed to find any answers to this. I have seen others asking and promises of assistance - but then I don't see any follow-up. So - I'll ask and either someone can direct me to where I can find the answer (here or elsewhere) or someone can take the time to answer. ;)

Got my WFS rooted. Got a 16gb sd card partitioned and in (reloaded with everything from my old 8 gb card). Got Link2SD and Titanium Backup both installed and working. All my user apps are linked to my card. As of right now, I am using the stock ROM that the phone came with.

Now, there are a TON of apps marked as "system apps". Some I have been able to research and find that they are not necessary for the actual running of the phone and have converted them to "user apps" and linked them or just "froze" them to see if they affect anything.

My question is on the other "stuff" - is there a list out there for what is "ok" to either delete or link over OR is there some way to determine what I can safely change from "system" to "user" and then link?

Thank you for any help/guidance.

First of all, make sure you back up your rom in recovery. Then uninstall system apps using ES File Explorer because it backs up them before uninstalling.

You can also use Titanium Backup to freeze apps to see if it causes instability. If so, just thaw them. If not, go to ES File Explorer and uninstall them.

I successfully uninstalled the following apps from my old HTC 2.3.5 ROM:
Non-HTC:
Facebook
Twitter / Twitter Widget
Youtube
News
Stocks
Friendstream
Flicker
Google Talk
News and Weather

HTC:
HTC Friendstream
HTC Hub/Hub Sync
HTC Likes/Likes Widget
HTC Trends Widget
Facebook for HTC Sense

I have also removed things like the stock music player (after installing my own) and the browser ( I like Dolphin better).
I never had a problem but like Cafe said, I did freeze the apps before uninstalling (I used Link2SD since I only have the free version of Titanium and it doesn't allow you to freeze)
