which tablet to get?

Hi, I'm looking to get myself a tablet later this year (uk), probably august/september :confused:and wondered if any suggestions for what would be coming out. Would like large screen, the possibility to connect to a lot of different data projectors (is this likely) not bothered about 3g so wifi only would be fine. I'm using HTC desire as phone and am really liking it.
Any thoughts, I've been googling etc and can't seem to find a whole lot if good info out there.

I would get the advent Vega

I got mine about a month ago and love it.

Yes it does not come with market yet but u can update it to get it.

Never had any problems with mine.

I bought a flytouch2 and found it to be a sweet tablet. That was about a month ago. Boy how tey have changed. If you want to go with Android you have a wide variety to choose from. I bought mine from a Chineese web site called DHGate.com. If you go there you can see what has happened in the last month. They now have 9.7 inch iPad clones with android on them that are really sweet. Now I'm wishing I had waited a bit longer to buy mine. So if you wait a bit longer, who knows what will be out there. Just becareful what you buy and research it before paying for something you'll wish you didn't. Good luck!

Kinda hard to say what will be good in August/September. I imagine there are still quite a few tablets in the works. HTC and Dell have 10 inch models probably in that time frame. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 looks sweet, but no HDMI so probably would not be attractive if you want to hook up projectors.

Right at the moment I'm thinking the Toshiba Tablet. It's going to be heavy, but it's also pretty rugged and durable looking. And it has a full sized HDMI port, along with full sized USB and SD ports.

If you want something lighter, the ASUS Transformer my choice at the moment. It uses a mini HDMI port, so you'll have to buy a mini HDMI to HDMI cable for it. It has a nice optional keyboard dock that almost turns the tablet into a pseudo netbook. Plus the dock has a secondary battery giving the tablet up to 16 hours of life. And it's already available in the UK.
