Root which way do I go???

I need to root my wife's Inc 2 so she can use tethering, here is her build info, was wondering which way i should go, upgrade then downgrade, or just install the downgrade?

It's all about the hboot. If it's 97 just go to Revolutionary. I can't think of any reason to update.

i agree. if you have a revolutionary compatible hboot,run revolutionary before doing anything else!

if you have .98 or higher hboot,just downgrade,it doesnt mater wat build your one,you can upgrade after obtaining s-off.

bbery is correct,there is absolutely no reason to upgrade prior to downgrading
