Another annoying thing (following my last post) - when typing, the phone is correcting missepelled word, errant key presses ect.. The problem is it is often correcting to words that, as far as I know, aren't even words. If I try to type just a letter like K (as in ok), it types M.F. (Funny thing about that is that is that's what I'm always saying when using this thing). Is this phone supposed to 'learn' as it goes?
 
I had a similar problem with Swype. It pulled none words and French words. The language was set to English. I just changed the input mode to Android or Samsung because I am obviously not proficient with Swype.
 
you have Swype set up to automaticaly input the word, not just suggest it. you can ajust your Swype settings to only suggest and not replace.

if it is still suggesting French, you might want to also turn off the alternate language optoin. My swype is locked in English and I just manually enter anything in Spanish I might need.
