Help While texting, my screen changes from landscape to portrait

[wa2tuff]

I'll be texting with no problem in landscape mode and an action occurs.....I'll get another text, I'll get an email, an alarm goes off.....something occurs. When I go back to texting in the landscape mode, none of my new keystrokes appear. If I turn the phone to portrait mode, everything is there and everything I texted is there. But if I go back to landscape, none of my new keystrokes register. What I texted prior to the action is still there, but no new texting is shown on the landscape mode, just on the portrait mode. I'll finish writting the text in portrait, and send it. If I shut the phone off and back on, everything is normal until the next time I'm texting and something happens.

Any ideas? This is very frustrating!

I cannot believe I'm the only one whose ever had this problem. I really like my phone but this is becoming a real pain. Sure would appreciate some input.
