Help White HTC EVO paint is chipping

My White paint seems to be chipping away on my best buy exclusive white htc evo. Its actually chipping on the white back half, not to be mistaken with the white back cover. It looks like the white back half of evo's were originally red because Im seeing the red showing on the chipped parts. Anyone know what color white is used, and would spray painting it be the best solution?

Your probably not going to be able to claim it as a defective phone since they will most likely consider it normal wear and tear and be unwilling to warranty it for that reason alone. Your best bet is to warranty the phone for a reason other than the chipping paint by not even mentioning it to the store reps. My advice.

I've heard the same complaint from the black Evo owners. The paint chips and it red underneith.

Sadly even the full body wraps aren't much help because the section between the sides and the battery cover is unprotected.
