Help White/light spot on screen

Yesterday I noticed a small white circle on the screen. It looks like an area on the screen the might be displaying brighter. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.

There are two spots on my screen which appear to be like white patches.
It's mostly noticeable on a whitebackground like this site. They actually appear to be
Spreading in size. Anyone familiar with what this may be ?

I had the same problem as well on my 0002. After Sprint replaced the screen the problem returned after about a week. I got a replacement on the same day a 0003 rev. Looks good so far.

hardware build is 002 and the scrteen has always had a protector on it. Just ran a app called Jscreenfix but nothing has changed. If anything it might look worse. couldnt replace within first 30 days at radioshack because they didnt have any.

take it back to Radio Shack. Explain how you tried to exchange it within your 30 days, but they were out. Tell them you want a replacement or you will return the order.

Hope that works. They basically told me I was SOL during my 1st 30
Days because they didn't have any.

Yup exact same...I have one white spot...I also tried Jscreen Fix...nothing happen... I got 002 also :(

It is pretty annoying the white spot stands out like crazy & now 30 days are up...sprint don't give a ****.

You guys do realize that there is still the manufacture warante. The 30 days has nothing to do with a defunk phone.

Yeah there is still manufacture guarantee...but things change.

They don't easily give you a replacement. U do have to take it repair center & deal with there bs & also the fact that there is a shortage of EVO's Sprint has stopped sending replacements to those who are outside of 30 day period.

I had this EXACT same problem on my first evo. Aside from some slight light bleeding into the screen from the home key, I had small patches of brighter white areas on the screen. They weren't super noticeable, but they drove me crazy when browsing the web. Eventually they got bigger and I exchanged it before the 30 days were up. It was HW 0003 and had a Nova screen.

Got an 0003 epson now. Keepin' my fingers crossed!

how do you know the manufacturer of the screen??? i tried checking on the ##786# and couldnt find anything

I experienced this with my 002 device. Went back to Best Buy before my 30 days and told them it was a "burn in" on the screen. They evaluated it and confirmed it. I got a replacement on the spot. Good luck!
