White Samsung Epic? Is it possible?

Do you think it's likely that we'll get a White Samsung Epic? Recently, it was announced that South Korea was getting a white version of the Galaxy? Do you think that will eventually trickle down to the states as well?

Or does anybody even want a white Samsung Epic?

Isn't it just a white backplate? I mean really, 3rd party manufacturers make all diff color backplates for all phones. Wait a month or 2 after the phone it out and buy any color epic 4g backplate you want, ta-da, new roygbv or white epic 4g.
 
Funny. If the phone only came in white, I'd buy a different phone. It is a better phone color than pink though. 2eachsown...

In theory, I like the idea of adding a red backplate to a black Epic, but that can be done by mixing cases, which offer more protection anyway.

I agree with the poster who said he avoids white, but only because of my personal color scheme, not because white phones are inherently boring or evil.
 
The back plate on the Epic is just a piece of plastic. Pop it off, take a piece of sand paper to it, apply a few coats of Krylon in your color of choice, done. Custom colored Epic. You'll loose the logos on the back, if anyone really cares.

Knowing Sprint this would void your warranty ... but then so does rooting.

I wouldn't think about a white Epic. The white EVO was nothing but an EVO with a different back. It really doesn't look all that great IMO.
 
I really dislike this backplate mess. Make the entire device a different color. Nobody pays attention to the back so why do they go with this half and half mess. The front is where most of the looks and attention is at. Make the entire device a new color or exclusive after the original release. You know a white phone would compliment the screen so much. It doesn't even have to be white, but this half and half thing is ugh.
