Help White screen

I have had an HTC Incredible 2 for just a couple of months now. The past couple of days I've been getting the white screen several times a day after coming out of an app or even just my messages. Not all of the time, but several times a day. (It doesn't depend on the app either. Games, google, etc). The screen turns white, says "htc" and then does a reboot. Not a full reboot, just a restart kind of thing. I've done several reboots myself hoping to fix this, and have even pulled the battery. Any ideas?

Also, how do you do a factory reset? Or is that something I have to go to Verizon for?

No - my phone is not rooted.
