White Skyrocket Available Dec 4th

My 4S was white and the first white iPhone I had. I have to say I did like the white in the short time I had it, if you don't use a case, the white hides any scratches or blemishes on the case

I don't think so, I constantly see guys with white iPhones, iPads, and HTC Evos. Looks cool and is just a different color.

Tempted to do the 30 day return to pick up the white for my little brother.

I just returned mine to order the white one.

Price update

Fry's Electronics reportedly has the white one for $139

went to see my friends at best buy and had no issue having them match that price. we ordered 2 :)

As promised

AT&T stores selling them for $150, so it's not worth the $10 gas bill. (FWIW, in Calif., you pay sales tax on the list, not discounted price.)

Not all markets are selling them for $150 ...here in Dallas they are $200-$250 everywhere but Frys

;)

Is the discount on the Skyrocket (like you said, in Dallas it lists at $249, but it lists for $149 in San Antonio and Austin, both of which locations I will be visiting within the next couple of weeks) based on where you buy it or where your bill is set up?

In other words, if I wait until I go to Austin around Christmas could I get it for $149 (provided it still lists for that at that time) even though my account is registered in Dallas?

OK I am confused....you can

1. Buy from frys here in Dallas
2. Have best buy price match and ship to u

Why wait?

But to answer your question it is based off of not only billing zip but also calling area.
If you go through the trouble of changing your billing zip online and calling art and have them change your calling area to that zip...you can buy it at any att store for that zips price supposedly.

If you need to just take a trip up to the McKinney best buy and let them know the iPhone guy sent you. Have them pricematch frys ...they all used my original iPhone to get unlimited data lol

I guess now I am confused. I thought I had heard that if you did the upgrade through Best Buy, they couldn't keep your unlimited data and you would then be forced to the tiered plan.

Also, can Best Buy do the upgrade on my second line/number, even though I will use the phone on my primary line/number?

They have to call in to keep your unlimited.

And yes, it is called a cross upgrade :) i do it all the time.

If it isn't too far come see these guys at eldorado/75

They are the best in the metroplex.

They did this for me, however that night when my online plan updated I was on a 200mb enterprise plan and not my unlimited plan. A quick call to ATT and they actually were able to put me back on unlimited no problem.
