Who else can't wait to get one of these?

I contacted the Samsung store at Westfield Stratford and they say there are no plans as yet for the 3G version to be on sale here in the UK, I also checked with Samsung Europe and they are saying the same. This might be in part due to the impending launch of the TAB 3 at the beginning of July, so I have taken the plunge and ordered the 3G version from Amazon UK and although it's coming from Germany the tracking is quoting it will be here this coming Tuesday, which is quite fast considering I only ordered it Thursday night.

Every review I have seen of this say it's awesome

I have also noticed from the manual that it uses the micro USB too which is great as everything else I have, except the Tab 2, uses the same size.

Well true to their word it has arrived, which a very good going.

Just adding my apps and customising it and it seems very responsive.
 
Just got an email. The Staples promotion is still going on w/ $50 instant coupon.

Focus Camera has it on sale for $367+. Not sure if Staples will price match, but if they do, then the price could potentially be $297+ (before taxes)

Apparently, Focus Camera has retail stores in New York. Not sure what Staples price match policy is (I'm assuming it's similar to Best Buy), but it's worth a shot trying to price match and have coupon applied.
 
I kinda like the brown color. If this drops below $350 I might jump.

BTW..i don't understand Samsung's pricing. The Tab 3 8" will MSRP at $300 but the upgrade in processor plus the S-PEN is definitely worth the upgrade especially if you can find a deal similar to the ones DREX has posted. They should have priced the Tab 3 at $250.

Many people were able to swoop it up for $319+tax from Staples. Not sure it's possible anymore, as I believe the $50 off coupon I had posted a couple times is now expired (not 100% positive though).

I saw the thread in SD but was really trying to hold out for the Samsung announcement. I'm sure a similar deal will pop up again.

I haven't caught up in this thread, how are you liking it so far?

Hold out for the TAB and ATIV announcements? Even though I could've gotten a better deal/price match if I held out, I am still happy with it. It has been better than expected. Still wish I had 32 internal, at least. I'm finding myself purposely not downloading things, just because of the internal storage. I already had to uninstall a couple games because I was reaching the limit. There was another video app that I could use, but held off cuz of limited internal.

Despite all that, love it. Amazing for what I wanted and need it. Great for the car, which was important.
 
For those that had the patience to wait, I actually was in a Best Buy and went to take a look at the Black/Brown color that is available. It actually looks very nice in person. Bad choice to say it's Black/Brown. It's more of a Graphite Black color w/ Brown tones (but doesn't look brown at all). If that had come out at the same time as the white, I might have considered it.
 
Got this bad boy as a gift from work! I'm kinda excited because it's my first tablet. I just never felt the need to really own one, but some of the features are pretty cool. Does anyone use Smart Remote or WatchOn?

I use it when my harmony 900 needs charging, but that is about it. I prefer . Handed tv remotes
