So i ended up with the S6 instead of the S6 Edge. I was dead set to get the Edge, until i contacted Lifeproof and OtterBox to find out if they will make a waterproof case for the Edge. Apparently neither of them have plans to do so. But they are going to have a case for the S6. So i just got back from pre-pre-ordering the 64gb S6, and also got their freebie of a wireless charging pad with my pre-order. Kinda disappointed that i won't have the Edge, but if a Lifeproof type case comes out for it, i may end up buying it too... :)

I will give the Active a look if/when it comes out too. But if there isn't a good case like the Preserver, I'll take a pass. I bought the S5 Sport last July and never saw a good, rugged case for it. Sticking with the more popular device to make sure i don't have the S5 Sport issue again.
 
the active series is supposed to be more rugged than the regular out of the box only. I dont personally end up buying a super expensive case always end up getting a hybrid case from amzer. Currently using only a bumper case on my s5 as i have the wireless charging kit which does not let me use any cases.

I preordered 32GB S6 from T-MO - now - just waiting. LOL Someone on the Edge forum said that they got a shipping confirmation.

I know what you're saying about the Active being more "rugged", but it won't stand up to what i do for a living and for fun.. :)
I am excited about the free Samsung wireless charging dock i got with my order, but I'll probably use the charging cord most of the time.
 
I preordered. White regular S6, 128GB capacity, on T-Mobile. The EIP is the same on both the 128 and the 64, and the EIP is only $4 more per month than the 32GB S6, so I thought heck just go ahead and get the 128GB capacity, plus I believe smartphones are going to change a lot in the coming years, rollable, bendable, foldable, I'm not sure what I'm going to think of the S7, or the S8, so I also decided to get the higher capacity S6 because I intend on holding onto it for at least 3yrs.
 
Pre-ordered the 64 GB Black S6 from Best Buy so will get the wireless charging pad.

Would have gone with the Edge but already paying $100 premium for the extra storage o it was too rich for my blood.

Where's the Gold? Can't find the Galaxy 6 Gold 32gb at any carrier. Let me know who has it for preorder.
