Who is excited for tomorrow???

super stoked about the phone....just went to the store and played with it...it'll be my first android phone coming from a die hard blackberry user...lol
 
I am going crazy! My Mytouch slide WIGGED out on me this morning and I took it to the store to return it and I saw the Galaxy! OMG! It is freaking amazing!!!!! I can't wait for tomorrow!

Lady from RS just called me and said she would have it ready when the store opens tomorrow :D as nerdy as it may sound, it's the most excited ive been in a long time.

yeah, I'll be getting mine @ 9am....luckily I know someone that works there so to make sure there's one for me sitting there waiting. lol I'm excited and at the same time a bit nervous since the whole android device is new to me and I'm looking to take full adv of the phone as in rooting and flashing custom roms in the future. probably gonna need some help from you guys...lol

Haha im not going to do all of that i dont think... It voids the warranty. It all depends on what the warranty on this phone is like.

Where you located at exactly? I;m goin to get mine tomorrow, hopefully, and the rep at my store said they are only getting 10 in for now. I asked how many people he had come in and ask about the phone and he said there were alot and only 1 guy said he'd be showing up at around 9 am

yea its not like the nexus one where you have to intentionally unlock the bootloader and they could tell if u did it. once u flash back to stock you are all set
 
Just talked to the store. They have 45 units ready for tomorrow, so I'll be there first thing to pick mine up.

Really? I really don't see the point in rotting though, with 16gb on board i dont think ill need to use the sd card for apps. ill root if i need to though.
 
I can't wait. I went and asked today and they said they had about 50 of them. I also got to mess with the demo for about 3 min and it is so nice. I was worried about the size but it is not a problem at all.
 
went to play with a demo today... also had them check to see if there was a note on my account that says i am eligible for an upgrade at 11 months.. it was there.. but he was not too happy about it.. he couldnt understand why im getting a full upgrade at 11 months.. after standing and looking at the computer for a while he said OKAY.. I'll honor it.. but from my understanding from CS is that tmo stores have to honor it.. the guy at the store was considering it.. but gave in eventually... jeez
 
I'm so stoked, I can't wait. I really cant lol. It feels like christmas morning when I was a little kid, is that bad? The t mobile store has 45 of them and I'm showing up right when they open.

I actually took the day off from work tomorrow to go get it, a memo went out asking if anybody wanted thursday or friday off unpaid and I took it as a sign and jumped at the opportunity lol. I went to play with the demo today and WOW, that screen looks better than almost every screen I have ever seen. I watched a bit of avatar and played a game they had on it, after that I was hooked. This phone is incredible, once I root it and get a different UI, it will be even better.
 
I was excited until I saw the price tonight on the T-Mobile site for the EMP plan. $500.00 they've got to be kidding? Sorry but $450.00 was my utmost limit for a phone no matter how nice it is.:( Hey Samsung, if you're listening maybe come out with a Sims 3/Avatar free Vibrant. I'd gladly pay $50 less for a phone without that overhyped movie and game on it.

T-mobile sets the pricing and decides the contents for phones so you need to ask them. Samsung can't do anything about that.
