Just thought i would share the news of my successful venture into modifying my desire to how i wanted it.

I started by rooting my desire using the unrevoked method.
Then i partitioned my sd card (8GB class 10) to a 1gb ext 3 with gparted.
Then i installed busybox.
Then enabled init.d support.
Then flashed darktremor a2sd script with Dalvik cache moved to ext.

All this on a stock rom. Why didnt i just flash an already done rom i here u ask?.......where is the fun in that! I learnt a lot more doing it this way. If people wanna know how i can then help them out.

It was a long slog and lots of reading and getting help from lots of people! Thanks to all who helped me along the way.

If youre still on the stock rom, i would suggest looking for a custom kernel. One of the biggest battery drainers is the fact that htc supply too much voltage (mV) too each cpu freqency (i'll happily give you an explanation if needed) so a custom kernel will do you wonders...

Incorrect? It probably is but i dont know why. Was never any good at English.

It is gramatically correct besides the slang for "want to" being "wanna". The punctuation is the biggest concern really.
