In late October I put up my first app on the Google Play Store...
It's a coloring book (yes, another one), and it's really pretty cool (imho).
For whatever reason, it has about 5 times as many installs from the UK as from the US (despite the US having 5 times the population). I.e. per capita it is 25 times as popular in the UK.
Even Malaysia with less than 1/10 of the US population has about twice as many installs.
The surprising thing is that I've made no specific effort to promote it in the UK (or Malaysia), but have promoted it on sites with a mainly US audience.
One issue I've noticed is that a search for "coloring book" on Google Play doesn't show it. If you search specifically for "kea coloring book" it comes up.
Can anyone think of a reason why the game is achieving so little in the US as opposed to the UK?
Thanks!
