Why bother with moving apps to SD card?

Is there a reason to even bother with moving apps to SD card on DInc considering that it has 6GB of internal storage? I understand app data still resides in /data/data folder after you move app to SD (I may be wrong on this one)

Apps are not stored in the 6GB emmc. IIRC, the apps are stored on a 768MB partition, which is still more than what most people will utilize.

They're in /system/app and /data/app
