Help Why cant i access specific app settings like facebook on S7

[Android Question]

Once in application - application manager - select app (facebook) - Data usage then I try to view the app settings but it is light gray so I cannot click on that option. this app is using so much data would like to manage it. Thanks

That's the Facebook app, it's a built-in memory hog.
Use a browser instead

Could try Facebook Lite. As its name implies, it's intended to be light on resources, and not be a hog. Unlike its horribly bloated cousin

I tried that a while back, it said it is not available for me in the USA...
Just took a 2nd try, and it let me install it again.
I dumped it straight into the trash pile #13,
IT IS FULL OF FLASHING ADVERTISEMENTS

no way am I putting up with that crap.

I believe FB Lite was originally intended for emerging markets, where low end, low specced devices are most prevalent, and flagship expensive Samsungs are for the new money.
