why can't update

I tried googling it, as most of them said deleted a hidden file, surely it didn't work for my case, there was no such file in my phone. I would wonder why it happen in just few months, my phone is healthy and it do update previously.

as I am sure many people have encounter this situation from 2012 years in the world.

so you tell me why and how to solve it.

What phone are we talking about anyway? There are many other factors causing a phone to not update, like regional codes, country variants, carrier approvals, etc.

I notice that, in all your questions, you've never stated which device you're using and never reply when asked. You must understand that, with so many different Android devices on the market, people need more specific information in order to offer accurate (and safe) advice.

what information should I provide? as most apps fit android 2.2 or above like mine, so there should be not specs issue, if not, I do like others would provide it.

currently, I found Google map also can't update like? furthermore, I can reinstall the apps but just can't update after having installed, why? of course, there was no SD card and memory issue.

So it's app updates that you can't get? From the original post I assumed it was system updates. This illustrates why it is important to clearly describe your problem. Remember that we only know what you write, so it's better to give too much information than too little.

So information that might help: what phone model you have, what software version, and what version of Market/Play Shop you are using would all be useful to help people identify the cause of the problem. Also when the problem started, whether anything changed (especially market/play shop updates) or whether you made any changes before the problem started? And is the symptom that you receive no notifications of updates, or that you can't download/install them? The more detail you give, the more likely someone will recognise the problem.

Because from your post, I assumed that you were talking about OS update, not app update.

Furthermore, we need the specific device because not all devices came with the Android Market preinstalled, like some Chinese phones. In such cases, it would be a different scenario than say, a Galaxy SL with Android 2.2 with the market updater working. Apps won't update because they will be considered by the system as "side loads", and the device is blocked from accessing the market for updates.

1.what is "side loads"? my phone is Motorola XT316 with android 2.2x, Google map is just for an

example but it do can't update, I also encounter apps like Line, 920 text editor, both had

transfer into SD card, but it had space enough, over 100 MB.

2.my phone had update market shop to play shop( it's newest).

3.I didn't change much setting in my cellphone, it's close to default.

4.you know I see update and then I just update it, so it should be newest for any other

app if no update issue occur
