Help Why clock time will lag in update when turning from lock screen to wake up screen?

When the screen is locked, screen black (sleeping during standby), I press the power button to wake up the screen. The time will have a 2 sec delay then update. See video from 2.18min https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahYMMGJyuS0

How to solve the problem?

A problem where there isn't one to my mind. Obviously the lock screen refreshes on short press of the power button, checks with the device the actual time and refreshes the lock screen display. In, as the video says, "a blink of an eye". Indeed I would say it is working as it should it should go to "deep sleep" on locking. You wouldn't want the non displayed lock screen refreshing every minute and polling clock to refresh the time when your not looking would you and it is "off"? That would take more battery than it checking the time and refreshing when you come to unlock.

It happens occasionally on my S4, but I don't view it as a problem.

This problem is solved in 4.4.2 Android. I was using an older version (i think 4.2.2) when the problem occur.

^That is correct.
This lag in the clock was my biggest pet peeve about the phone when I got it. It has since been fixed in updates.
