Why did they change the menu button?

you guys must be talking about the G1000.. available in almost every GA aircraft these days. it's amazing what GA has evolved to... some of these planes are more hi-tec then a lot of airliners these days. anyways... i want an evo 3d.

Don't be fooled by the "skin deep" technology. "Most airliners" have LNAV/VNAV and things like CPDLC and ADS-b and autothrottles and satcom with sat datalink and ACARS....not to mention 3 autopilots and 3 FMCs and 3 IRU's(inertial ref units) and 5 VOR/DME receivers and 2 GPS receivers...and CAT 3b autoland capability(we don't have to see a thing!!!)....al wrapped together in an aircraft that was designed in the early 80s!!!!....Jus sayin'!!!

But I will say, the G1000 would make me a little less dangerous in a small plane!!!...or at least make me feel that way....hahaha!!!
