I have Facebook contact syncing turned off and I have Facebook contacts not checked in the People->View menu. My Facebook contacts do not show up in my People directory (accessed via People app) or via the dialer. (I do use HTC Friendstream for live feed syncing only.)
But if I go to start a new text message (in stock messaging app), my Facebook friends show up in the avaible listing of people (either by menu->people or by hitting the people icon next to the To field). Anyone know why this happens and more importantly how to get rid of the FB contacts in the messaging app?
