Help Why do I have to do it twice?

When I am on a call and I want to end the call....if the screen has timed out...... I have to push the power button, let the screen come on, let the screen go off 1/2 second later, push the power button again, then push the end call button. If the screen has not timed out, I have to push the end call button twice.

WHY?

Anyone found a way around it?

There is something that you can change in the acceptability settings that might suit you. Just go into them and find the power button ends call check box, and tick it. Of course this might not be what you're looking for, but its an option.

I avoided doing that because.........I do a lot of conference calls and if I am on a call and the screen has gone out, I have to press power to do other things like send a text, check the weather, etc.

I have this issue from time to time. And yes, it's annoying as all getout. I always hit the power button too to try to get the screen back on, and it does the little flash on then off thing. I'd just wait and see if the proximity sensor is just lagging or something, but I've always hit the power button out of habit. The next time it does it I'm going to try a couple of things. Let me know if you find a solution first, I really hate it when it does it.
