Why does Google hate the app "Lucky Patcher" so much?

They do everything in their power so that users avoid using it at all costs. I guess it's because this app can remove ads and such from apps, right? Or why else? The Play Store has some really atrocious apps/games and those go untouched.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that it allows people to steal in app purchases. Surely that's against the terms.
And also, Google in general, doesn't allow ad blockers. Probably because it causes a hit to their revenue.
Steal IAPs? That's certainly a prob. I've used it on two apps but just to block ads. Very useful in this regard

I just use AdAway. It'll block ads online and in most apps.
AdAway is great for rooted phones, DNS66 for non-rooted. The issue is, DNS66 requires a VPN connection and that gets in the way as I already have one active.
Anyway, Lucky Patcher doesn't even remove ads from all apps/games, it actually broke the app FreeAppsNow from working. With DNS66 turned on, the app doesn't show any ads though.

Could you please submit more information regarding 'dns66'..how to download or setup

Because lucky patcher can hack apps and games ruin developers profit. That's why Google hates that kinds of apps.

That's the right answer. When developers submit unfinished games for free and expect you to pay for the missing pieces who's fault is that. @developers Finish the game, charge a price and if people don't like playing it then try again.

The amazing thing to me is people play unfinished games!

I can understand the in app purchase model though. Many entitled babies people think that apps should cost nothing (i.e. other people should work to give them nice things for free) and refuse to pay even a small amount upfront. You can put ads in, but I suspect that doesn't bring a lot of income (and of course many people hate them). So IAPs provide a third way of getting some income from your work. Whether the app is worth it or not is a personal matter, but judging that it's trash without the IAPs doesn't entitle someone to get the IAPs without paying ;).

But they aren't limited to games: there are a lot of other apps that use them as an alternative to having a separate paid "pro" version or a paid "unlocker" app: put the core functions in a free download and let people use an IAP to unlock "paid" features or buy a license after a trial period. So an app that can be used to bypass IAPs provides a mechanism for piracy that goes well beyond annoyingly-structured games.

(And of course AF's forum rules are unambiguous about piracy, which is why we offer no support for this app here either).

Some developers charge for games outright, some instead rely on ad revenue as payment. In those instances, apps like Lucky Patcher allow someone to download an app and then continue using the app 'ad-free', in essence denying the developer(s) from receiving any compensation.

For all those who advocate Lucky Patcher, why is this concept so hard to follow and even if you do, why do you defend it so strongly?

If the game is so fundamentally broken, that you have to hack it to make it playable (either by blocking adds, unlocking purchases etc... ) THEN DON'T PLAY IT.

Its not like there's an international shortage of games... play something else. That will encourage people to make decent games, and reward the devs who are doing something interesting.

Unambiguous?
Just pay for the game.
Yeah, that's the way I prefer to do it. But with so many who just won't I can't blame developers for trying other models. And yes, it is daft that there are people who won't buy a game but will download a "free" game and spend more on in-app purchases, but people are not consistently rational.

And for full disclosure: any game that expects me to keep paying to access levels, or makes it near impossible to progress without buying power-ups (the "pay to win" model) I will just delete.
