Help Why does it do this?

I have an Htc Incredible S and really love the screen resolution on it. My problem is that everytime I find a nice hd wallpaper image and put it on my home page, the image gets cropped and cut off.


Is there any program that can resize wallpaper pics?


I've found some really nice ones and most of the picture is lost....sort of like watching pan & scan movies instead of widescreen.


Can anyone point me in the right direction? Are there any settings in my phone that can make the image fit the screen and adjust automatically?

Look for wallpaper set and save in the market also make sure that the image is the correct resolution.

Did you tap on the wallpaper and it brought up the four arrows to adjust the wallpaper.? (Before you save it)

You can also edit images on the desktop (I like the open-source image editing program The GIMP for this) and copy them to the phone via USB. The appropriate resolution for your phone can likely be found in the Incredible S subforum.
