Root Why does my internet keep refreshing so much on it's own? :(

My phone has a stock root rom in it and something that seriously annoys me is that when I go on the internet and a page I'm on loads up but right when I get out of the internet like to check a text message or something it has to refresh again when I go back on the internet. Before it didn't do that. Well it did just not like right after being out of the internet for a minute to check something simple like a text message. Before I would be able to check messages and do other stuff and when I would go back on the internet, the page I was on would still be there and not have to refresh. It bugs me because where I live, I don't have 4G and it sucks especially when I wanna watch a video and it has to load. Does anyone have the same problem? Is it solvable? If so, how?
 
It almost sounds like your cache clears when you quit the internet app. I would check your cache size setting. Hit menu -> more -> settings -> set cache size. Mine by default is set to max at 6 MB
 
Try clearing the cache. Turn off the phone for about a minute. Turn it back on and see if you can reproduce your issue. Also, ensure you are not using Advanced Task Killer in between flipping through different programs.
