Help Why does my phone stop working???

Lately I've had problems with my phone not working. It won't send/receive texts or phone calls. And all my apps are saying that they can't connect. I have not touched any of my 3g or wi-fi settings. If I turn my phone off and back on everything will start working for a few minutes but then it stops again. Is anyone else having this problem? How did you fix it?

check with your carrier first for signal issues in your area

I'm going to do that today after work. That was one thought I had. Only problem is it's mostly happening at my apartment where I've lived for 5 months. Why would it just now be having signal problems?

Towers do go bad sometimes. Verizon won't admit it because their network is perfect. If you can reproduce the problem on another phone they start to listen. Otherwise they will offer to send you a refurb.
