oh right i get ya :) is ur kernel the best 1 for battery? how is it 4 speed it it good?
 
It is for me but ultimately its up to you to try it as different things work for different people and different configs.

There were stories the other day that said 2.4 would be another variant of gingerbread (androidcentral?), which would fit with some other tidbits and sightings.

If honeycomb is tablet one might guess that "i" (rumoured to be "ice cream") will be next major phone release. But what do names matter?
 
lol, just out of interest what do u plan on having for your next phone after desire? another HTC? and how long u had ur desire for? :)
 
yeah so have i - just under ;) see i had a contract with a sony ericsson phone and after 1 year i wanted a new phone so i got a desire and put my sim card in it ;) what contract u got?

I'm on O2 UK, 24 month contract, got it on release day for O2 (which was early May). Phone was free but had to bump it up to
 
oh right... was yours O2 locked and branded then??? (I made sure i got mine unlocked and unbranded) and whats wifi hotspot?? :)
 
I dont use the wifi hotspot thing. Its something to do with free access to wifi hotspots like BT in town, but I never got it to work.

I never unlocked as I will never be using a non O2 sim, but Its obviously rooted and running custom rom, so no branding.
 
As we know the Desire HD Is better than the Desire in specs however i dont like it because of the worse battery and the size i think is too big (My mate has one).. So i like the Desire better but just out of interest would you rather a Desire HD? Do you like it better or do you prefer the Desire that we have? :)
 
I cant really think of anything available to me that I would prefer.

if the Atrix 4G was available in the UK, I'd want that but I'm perfectly content with my desire. Even now.
