The only reason I want it to flip the other way is because of the SNES emulator. I have a mytouch that is not rooted and if I clip it the only way it can flip all the controls are on the right side for a right handed person. The problem is that playing any game my whole life I'm used to moving an object with my left hand as it is with any game. I cannot get used to using my right hand to move things around. If it flipped the other direction, then I could use my left hand to move the playing and then use the virtual controls that are on the screen with my right hand, so it's a natural feel.
I really enjoyed the SNES emulator and I hope more and more games come out, but without having a natural feel of controlling movement with the left hand I just stopped playing it.
I know iphone flips the other way, since a friend showed me. Normally I go on and on about how android can do these things that iphone can't, but was shocked to see his phone flip in either direction, while mine can only rotate in one direction.
I'm sure a lot of people would like this for little reasons. Mine is really to play some emulated games and I would imagine that eventually I'd like to see some serious game development on the phone and just like any game, the movement really needs to be with the left hand. I guess if you have a keyboard like the G1 or some of the other phones it might not be an issue, but with the mythouch it's an issue for me.
