Help Why doesn't CWM see my micro sdcard?

I'm trying to do a current image back up and then re-flash a custom rom but CWM doesn't see my sd card. Astro and everything else does but not CWM. Also after installing CWM my nvidia Tegra Zone won't open anymore. It opens and force closes everytime.

Do you not have a Iconia A500?

No i do have a iconia a500 lol I noticed that after the 4.010.13 update my nvidia tegra zone won't open anymore. But anyway I want to back up my current state and then start flashing my tablet but I cant seem to get cwm to recongnize the SD card

Oh I get it now. I'm a little slow sometimes.
Sometimes the Iconia doesn't recognize some of the SD Cards.
Have you tries the Acer Recovery in the market that one is the best for the tablet.
I will ask around and see if I find some other people with same problem and if there is a fix for it.

Just thought of something are you putting the Rom file on the External SD Card the tablets internal Memory is also called SD Card. Here is where you find the external card.
/mnt/external_sd/ = SD card which is accessed by CWM
Also some cards dont work properly with this tablet so if you have a spare card or one in your phone you could back up the contents and format it Fat or Fat32 and try that one.

Also something I do is I extract the rom file onto my desktop just to make sure it isn't corrupted before I try to use it.Then you can delete the extracted files. That lets you know if the rar or zip file is complete.

Yeah I havent even tried to install a rom yet Because i want to back up my current state first before I flash but I can LT even do that because it doesnt pick up the SD. I'm getting a new card today to try. If i make a Back up now if I not li,e the new rom I can backup to my current state right

Ive tried most of the Virtuous roms and right now I'm using the Thrive. I have used this one the longest. No problems except sometimes it shuts off when it should be sleeping.
The Xoom was nice. I just got done doing my Droid Incredible Three times yesterday The one I was trying would only boot up half way so Im using a stock updated 4.06.05.2 And its real stable. I have to keep everything separate on my computer so I can keep track of what I'm doing cause I have done this so many times it gets confusing... I'm hooked and that it.

So your new card must have worked. What size did you get?
Glad you got it done.

He only card I had in town was a 4gb sandisk. But it worked. I backed up the image and bscked up a new rom I'm liking it. I must need to Lear how to over lock it now.

I haven't even tried. I dont think I need to but lots of people do it for sure.
I'm currently looking for the Developers who left the XDA forum. There was a war on that forum last month and a lot of the Dev's left. So I'm trying to track them down. There is hardly any support on the XDA web site for the Acer A500 because of the trouble. When if I find some of them I will let you know and send you a link.
