Why doesn't the Inc have Settings>Privacy?

I have the same issue (Sparked by the article you linked to). The manual also says the Privacy option should be there under settings.

Sense replaces the stock android settings app. I've always thought that the "Security" entry included the Privacy options.

Here is how I found it ..

From the home screen touch the soft key for search

Then touch menu and go into search settings

Searchable items

Check settings its near the bottom of the list

touch the back button twice

Now touch the drop down button on top left where you see the blue G and click settings and search for privacy and there you go.

Thanks for teaching me something new about my phone!

You got me thinking though, if you have Google Gesture Search, just fire that up and start writing Privacy and you'll get to it that way and a whole lot quicker.

My "Back Up Settings" was turned off, implying that it is default on this phone.
I still understand why they would put that setting in the phone, but not have a reasonable way to get to it.
