Why don't ant cache or clean up program empty the /DCIM/.thumbnails/

Why don't ant cache or clean up program empty the /DCIM/.thumbnails/
folder?

keep finding large cache files in there eating up my free space on my tablet.

I have a feeling that even if you delete those files, they just repopulate again mate

no they don't, takes weeks; like it waits for me to forget about checking there, until I find I got no room left.

And im taking 1-1.5GB cache files or what ever free space I got left.
