Help Why is screen replacement parts /service $290

I was surprised to see that the replacement note part is $290 just for digitizer and sometimes LCD. I could get a new phone at that cost plus a lot of these phones that I have seen around have cracked screens. How do you guys afford to replace broken screens at such costs. I've seen some where the LCD still works and just the digitizer or front glass needs to be replaced but the cost is just to high for me.



Anyway, do you guys know of any sites or stores that repair at a cheaper cost? Thanks

S-PEN.
that's what makes the difference. You CAN get a cheaper screen that is capacitive only but you will lose the S-pen function.
Premium feature = premium price...
