Help Why is the camera quality so poor?

Just upgraded to the DX from the DINC..And I noticed the Camera quality is VERY POOR! All the pics are coming out grainy. Am I doing something wrong? Every camera setting is on Auto.

Try changing the scenes to Steady Shot. Otherwise, it's a cell phone, it is what it is.

Don't use the hard button, instead quick touch the button on the screen

its because youve got 8 million photosites on a 1/4" (which is actully not 1/4" its about 3.2x2.4mm)
Unlike what the advertising has said more pixels is NOT better. Go buy a REAL camera if you want ungrainy, well focused, sharp images.

I figured that he was taking pics of his wang in the dark and couldn't see them

pretty sure it isn't the camera, buddy...




but honestly, this camera is great in good light, but the LEDs are no match for dusk or dark

I find it does quite well in outdoor sunlight Microwave photo - Ron Horloff photos at pbase.com
but less well in low light when it has to increase the ISO. If your photos are very grainy outside and the ISO is low, the camera may be defective.
