Root Why isn't my charging data accurate

I usually charge my phone when it's powered off. What happens is that I look at the phone after charging it for like 10 minutes and it says it went up like 10 percent. Then I unplug it and turn it on and it has the same percent that it said when it was off. Then I put in down or in my pocket and when I check it like ten minutes or so later the percentage is like 5 percent higher than what it said when I unplugged it. So for example I charge it from 40% to 50%, unplug it, turn it on and check that it's still at 50%, put it down, than like 10 minutes later I check it and it's at 55%. The first time this happened I thought I read it wrong the first time when I unplugged it but then it happened a few more times. I'm using custom zv5 rom no xposed

Same thing keeps happening to me I just reboot after full charge I am also on zv5 custom I am also running Volt uno kernel
