Help Why LauncherPro?

Ive been tempted to switch to LP, used it on my moto droid...
question, if using sense right now, if I "save" the scene, then load LP and decide i want to go back to sense, will i be able to reload the scene and have all my shortcuts/apps back in the same spots?
thanx
Danny

Yes. It did for me.

Yep :) If you're not sure and want to test it, then download Home Switcher. It will let you run LP over Sense so you can play with settings and test it out. But yeah, I've gone back and forth a few times and I never even had to reload saved settings, it remembered things as they were.

Tried LP and did not care for it. Did not like the multiple buttons in the bottom bar. I really missed my HTC widgets and did not find better replacements in the market. Sense also ran faster and smoother on my phone. I also like how Sense looks more than any other launcher I have seen.

Its all personal preference and that is the beauty of Android. If you don't like what your phone came with you can switch to something else. There is no launcher better than another just different launchers for different people.

Pure calender and Pure Messenger are both better than their sense counterparts (including scrolling), and the Launcher Pro Plus is going to have all the rest (bookmarks, etc). Can't help you if you don't like the interface though, that's just preference...to each their own :)
