Root Why messaging SUDDENLY stopped working?

Perhaps as ocn said when you call sprint, they will have you do some qpst(?) codes that will only work with a sense rom.
As far as radios go, your cell radio does not want to seem to work for some reason. But why all of a sudden?
No tower issues according to Sprint.
Unless someone else comes here and can offer anything else, I believe flash a MikG rom and call Sprint.
You dont happen to use google voice do you?

how about toggling airplane mode on then off.
Edit: doing some research about your issue with calls no working.
Seems like, more often than not, its a tower down or something but that doesnt explain texts working but not phone. --puzzled--

Well, I'm thinking now that Sprint needs a call to "re-provision" your phone.
Gotta go to sense rom temporarily in case they need to do the code thing.
I'll be gone a couple hours but I'll be back and see how its going buddy

It was disconnected from a network...but not now
Now its connected? Can you make phone calls?

I went into About Phone as you said found that Status was 'disconnected' Then I went to settings/More/Mobile Networks/System Select/Affiliated Networks.
That seems to have fixed 'er

WOW! Thanks for the heads-up! We're quitting at 3 so I better look at the radar!! We need rain desperately...
