why no DroidX listing on VZW's website

why is there no Droid X listing on VZW's website. Like if you click on all phones, click on android, then you only get the old 3 we've had for a while...when do they plan on adding the DroidX, i know there is the droid does page with it on there but its not a full spec list or anything.

From what I hear it will be listed on release July, 15th.

I seriously doubt we are going to see it on there until the 15th when they will start selling it.
 
i was just curious cause i've seen them list phones before and put the "coming soon" banner across them. oh well.

I spoke with a vw rep via phone and they said it won't show until the 15th, same response from the vws rep - as stated above. Probably too many people would flood the phone lines trying to upgrade if they saw it up and "available" -
 
yeah they usually dont put the phone on there unless they are doing preorders cuz im sure the phones would be ringing off the hook with people trying to order it.
 
I just hope Verizon, Motorola, and Google do better marketing by hyping the hell out of it. So that people will know what IT IS and buy it, not just the online warriors like us.
 
im sure once it is released or like a day before they will start kicking it into high gear with advertising. I mean they already have commercials now for the x but only 1 that i have seen
 
yeah i was wondering why the lack of main stream marketing as well..it has been pretty non existent on tv.

Yeah Verizon hasn't done any good marketing since possibly the "can you hear me now"
Why can't Verizon steal Marketing people from A**** or something.
 
yeah i've saw the Moto spec sheet...it is much better but i would still like to see VZW's spec sheet as well. No biggies i'll just wait till next week i guess. Thanks to everyone for the info.
